Lots of small avalanches and cornice falls along the eastern side of Mt Judah. No large avalanches observed all D1R1. Switchback tests on similar wind loaded eastern slopes on the way up showed some slab formation but reactivity was minimal and cracks were short and only formed with hard stomps. At the ridge I knocked some cornice off and triggered a small wind slab avalanche below it similar to the natural avalanches observed ( 6" crown, 40' runout, 15' crown length)

East Side of Mt Judah, 7,900' ~9:30am 02/03/2024 | Wind slab triggered by an intentional ski cut D1R1. ~100' runout, 10" crown height, 30' crown length. Lots of smaller similar wind slab natural avalanches in the steeper terrain under the cornice.
