Quick report

Toured Wing Ridge out of the hut from 04/07-04/09. High winds with snow fall resulted in wind slab and cornice growth over the NE facing Wing Ridge bowls over those days. Wind slab was growth was limited enough on 04/08 to drop greater than 30 degree slopes in sheltered NE aspects, but had significantly increased in both depth and consolidation by the morning of 04/09 to the point where we skied more conservative terrain. Slight crust evident under the 04/09 precipitation due to the warming events earlier in the week. Cornices are particularly large at this point, but testing smaller cornices on lower, non-consequential terrain suggested that they're still relatively stable, but again, there was not significant sun exposure over these days.
