Quick report
Went skiing in the Castle Pk zone today. The approach had one single wide skin track up to the ridge. Skied the NW face of Castle and the W face of Andesite off the summit. Found very little soft snow in shaded north facing aspects. A firm unsupportable crust existed on all aspects until soft snow developed on the solar aspects around 11 AM and became deep wet and unstable by 1 PM. Besides signs of wet loose instability in the afternoon no avalanches or slabs or unstable snow were observed.
