Very Light snow with mountains in the clouds with moments of filtered sun. SW winds were cool and gusting moderately. 25F in the shade at 7100'.
Snowpack
The surface had surface hoar and graupel.
At out ENE pit at 7171' we had about 6 1/2 feet of snow and the snowpack was mostly strong and right side up except a 5cm layer of rounding facets that are softer than the 1 finger snow above it, down buried 2/8 by about 51cm. We didn't get propagation in our extended column tests on ENE @7171' be we did get propagation wit a saw test: PST 32/100 end. Hand shears in mit pits showed moderate bonding.
-a mit pit on a SE aspect at 6600' showed wet snow below a 3-4" crust.
