Quick report
Rain Crust above 6,000. 2-3 mm and stout enough to hurt your shins. Note: it was not noted on the am snow report which was updated to include a mist crust at about noon, thanks for the update. Snow remained dry at lower elevations below the crust zone . Hopefully this event was limited to West Mt.
Snowpack
Crust was sitting on top of HST of 10" or so of lighter than typical snow. Moving forward, I will be watching for facet development above and below this crust. HST was higher at my house in town.
