Quick report

Went out to try to get an idea of how snow on north faces was interacting with the rain crust below it. About 20 cm down of fist hardness snow from the top. Then about 70 cm of 1F hardness snow before the rain crust. CT 15 failure sudden planar on the rain crust abt a meter down. ECT 20 resistant planar. Faceting at the interface btwn the slab and the rain crust. Decided not to ski NE Couloirs and kept it low angle.
