Dug two snow pits at about 7700 feet with RP at 25 and 65 cm and collapse at 75cm Weather continued to be warm with a crust on the top. Isolated spots of wumpfing noted. Just a bit of new snow. Traveled cautiously as with a big group and knowing about the persistent weak layer at 75cm. Avoided slopes greater then 30 degrees.
