Kootenay Pass

Group of 15 went out for a day of snowshoeing and skiing. We spent most of the day out of complex terrain. Snow conditions were varied due to wind effect, but stable. No signs of fresh avalanches. Wind slabs occurred on all aspects on higher elevation ridges. It was a beautiful day!
