Snowpack
Shallow conditions still exist at many trailhead elevations across the east-south. The Ahtanum Meadows CG @ 3200 ft has very little usable snow and is mostly bareground at the moment. Your best bet to find adequate lower elevation snow coverage will be from Bumping Lake West. At these locations, I found a height of snow ranging from 9-12 inches. Unsurprisingly, I found the deepest snowpack on Highway 410 towards the Chinook Pass eastside closure. In these areas, HS ranged from 12-15 inches at road elevation. New snow started stacking up on the western edges of the zone with 4-6 inches observed by 2 PM.
