Quick report
Low danger all around where we traveled. Snow was fully transformed to melt-freeze on steep south-facing slopes and we didn't trigger or see any wet loose avalanches in this snow that had already been through a few melt freeze cycles.

Warm! Light southerly winds along ridgeline above 5000ft. Not much snow has been transported since 12/9- most areas have been capped by a crust and there's very little snow on top (5cm) that fell 12/14.
Snowpack
Cold, dry snow was present on most flat and shady aspects. Most of these locations had varying amounts of crust, usually breakable, with a few cm of snow on top. The snowpack in these areas from 4600- approx 5200ft was about a meter deep. We dug a pit at 5550ft where the snowpack was 145cm.
Steep southerly slopes were fully transitioned to melt-freeze, and snow heights were about 2ft at 5800ft. The entire snowpack was moist yet supportable with only about 5cm of ski penetration.
Old rain runnels from 12/9 were present on all aspects we traveled. (up to our max elevation of 6000ft).
