Quick report
A few inches of new snow was a welcome improvement over the previous day's rain. The slightly cooler temperatures and predominantly cool skies kept the snow nice for the day, although I suspect steep south facing aspects moistened and wil be crusty early tomorrow.

12cm @5500' last night. Calm. Clear upper skies with pockets of low clouds
Snowpack
At 5500' snow depths wre just ovet 150cm. The new snow layer was 12cm deep, dry and low density. The rest of the snowpack was moist.. The crust at the top of the old snow surface was soft and edgeable, making the conditions slightly better than dust on crust. Since this crust was moist, the new/old layer was generally well bonded. Ski penetration was 10cm, boot penetration was about 20cm. No wind effect was visible where I travelled.
Snowline from last night was about 3000', which is about our current overall snowline elevation.
Avalanche
Small amounts of loose avalanche activity in the new snow layer, <4" . This layer was generally right side up and well bonded to the moist crust beneath. Small isolated loose dry natural activity was visible in the area.
