Quick report
Snow is heavy, but improves marginally at upper elevations. Most locations around the Alpental Valley were socked in all day, but there was no wind. Observed no instability in the snowpack, it is very heavy but appears right side up. We also observed several large tree bombs around mid-day.
Avalanche
Observed a small loose avalanche that ran over the cliffs above the Cache Couloir around 11am, despite very little sun today.
