8+ inches of lighter snow fell overnight up high. The top few inches were a bit reactive early in the morning. It quickly greenhoused mid morning and became heavy with even a bit of breakable crust. Not as much wet loose as expected. The creamy hot pow skied well on south faces on our return.
Avalanche
Lots of roller balls as it warmed up today. Triggered a small wind slab near treeline in a wind loaded concavity.
