Quick report
Was out Saturday and Sunday (April 5th/6th), primarily around the camp below the Squak Glacier, though we briefly got up onto the Squak itself Sunday AM before the weather got too bad. Saturday was quite warm with clear skies most of the day, then some light clouds came in and it got somewhat overcast, though the cloud deck was still quite high. Saturday night there were some moderate winds at camp but no precipitation. Sunday early there were high clouds and some worsening visibility, though no precipitation until ~6AM. It started with some light snow then was heavy rain for about 30 minutes (@6200ft), it was then mostly dry and overcast as we descended down towards the trailhead and out (@3700ft). Rain started again a bit before noon though was lighter. The snow above tree-line was incredibly saturated between the previous day's heat and the brief period of heavy rain (@6200ft), skiing was very difficult but got slightly easier in the trees, though still very saturated.
Avalanche
Observed many roller balls, and D1-D2 sized wet loose, mostly around rock bands and cornices. Observed a few larger cornice failures as well.
