Quick report
Observed light windloading on NE aspect of Sugarloaf. Colum test failed ~8cm below surface at 10 taps from wrist. Observations: - Light wind loading on the NE Aspect of Sugarloaf. (could see waves in snow and feel punching through when walking around pit on snowshoes). - Gusty wind blowing N/NE. Minimal snow transport.

Snowpack
Snow Pit Observations Below. I havent dug a pit in a while, so please take observations with a grain of salt :) Observations: - Light wind loading on surface. 3cm-5cm of new/wind blown snow. - Snow Depth: 125cm - Aspect: NE - Slope: 32deg. - Layer Lines: at 90cm, 80cm (ice crust), and 40cm. - Snow Pack Hardness below: (No "Upside-Down" Snopack Observed in main layers) - 120cm-125cm: F - 90cm-120cm: 4F - 80cm- 90cm: 1F - 40cm-80cm: 1F - 0cm-40cm: P/K Isolated Column Compression Test: - Fractured at 117cm with 10 taps from wrist (CTE). - Fractured at 90cm with 5 taps from elbow (CTM). - No other failures at 10 taps from shoulder. (fractured at 80cm when I hit really hard from my shoulder after completing normal compression test).
