Stiff and wind affected snow everywhere. Snow was very wet and sun affected in the afternoon. The Muir snowfield was nicely wind buffed in a few spots, wind textured and even scoured to blue ice in others. We dug a pit on a relatively wind loaded south facing test slope in the areas below pan face and found the 2/13 interface 75cm down, about 15cm above the 2/7 crust. ECTP sudden planar on the 15th tap on the 2/13.
Avalanche
Numerous large crowns visible at upper elevations, some recent loose avalanches in recent snow at lower elevations.
