Quick report
Toured up gash to ski the mystery chutes. Dug a pit at the top of the main mystery chute and got an ectp-7 and an ectp-5 when I redid the test. This was at 8400 ft and on due north facing terrain. There is a very hard icy crust about 30cms down that I only found on that slope and that layer is very reactive. Bailed and skied the main north face path and east bowl. Wind was out of the north most of the day.
Avalanche
Tiggered a couple of wide slabs on south and south east facing terrain. Crowns about 4-6” deep. Trigged a couple of small wet loose avalanches as well on south and east facing terrain after the sun came out for about 30 mins.
