Storm observation from outside the normal forecast zone. Snow depths at 9000' averaged 3-4 feet. Depths of 6-7 feet in drifted in areas. Storm has put down just under 2 feet of new snow, but evidence of strong winds stripping southwest aspects. Density inversion in storm snow, especially with warm temperatures this morning but overall snow felt stable. No collapses or cracking even in the wind drifted terrain. Still some weak facets down low on sheltered slopes, but they are unreactive. Clear skies today with a few hours of sun before temperatures dropped rapidly at 1600 and snow began to fall again.
