Only the views were worth it

Challenging uptracking beneath headwall as snowpack has completely faceted this past week with a ~2-5cm soft wind slab on top for extra points. Travel on the ridge improved considerably. Alpine slopes are now a combination of bulletproof to breakable grabby wind slab thats ~15-20cm thick on top of facets. Views were great though and we did find a pocket or two of some good quality snow to ski at treeline elevation.
