The Burn

Classic human over confidence of slope. On the tour up saw three other two day old NE aspect 30cm crowns from natural avalanches. As the skier rolled over the slope triggered the avalanche, soft wind slab / storm slab. Skier slid with avalanche for 30-40 m (no burial - stayed on top of the soft debris). Bed surface was a buried wind crust.
