Hector South Peak

At 11:45am the S Ridge and West facing slopes below the ridge had still not softened up enough for good skiing. The scramble and long march to the summit were very rewarding. Ski crampons and ice axe got used today. Quite a hard melt freeze crust. Boot crampons would likely be a good idea.
