Quick Observation
Avalanche Information
Came across this wet slab avalanche covering the Sky Pilot trail, which is pretty commonly used. It was hard to tell from a distance, but it looks like it started on the covex roll, rather than from a cornice fall from the cliffs above. It looked very fresh, but had a 1-2cm dusting of snow on top which made me think it happened on the 11th. It tilted some pines in its path and it looks like it took a few out.
