Matier NW Face - Mind the Cornice

Skied Aussie & Matier NW face. Beware of big cornice overhanging Matier NW face - looks primed to rip at any moment. Conditions were great. Solid refreeze overnight, slightly colder than expected temps. Solar aspects were cooked by early afternoon, high north faces remained firm.
