Forum ridge

Skied the AB/BC boarder cut line down from forum ridge. 3-4 turns below the convex roll at the start of the steep pitch down to akamina pass noticed shooting cracks and stopped skiing. 5 meters below and to the right avalanche was triggered. No skier involvement. Suspect February storm slabs slid on January crust. Crown was approximately 50-60cm deep with 10-15m propagation. Suspect with warming temps and added snow load deep persistent weak layer may be waking up. Slide safe out there.
