Tour up Churchill slide paths today - snow is pretty low tide until about 1800m and one slightly sketchy ice bridge crossing the river made for an adventure the first part of the day. Weather warmed up throughout day and no real wind. Snow quality was really nice from 2200 to 1800m with the upper portion superb with the supportive top 20-25xm. Pit at 2200 on a N/Ne aspect showed the nov 4 buried about 65cm with the facets everyone else is finding. CTN. HS 125cm. Some beaver activity observed along the river during ski out.
Nov 4 crust is breaking down - found to be 1 finger today - basal facets but no depth hoar in this pit. Column was able to be pulled out completely (see pic).
