Went into Mcmurdo cabin on the morning of the 19th and came out on the 21st (unfortunately early with a broken binding) Weather was stormy with clear periods Saw some evidence of depth hoar below treeline when a very small slab broke as we were filling water at the creek Considering the amount of new snow conditions were stabilish and bonding of new snow impressed us
Either natural or remote trigger. Released 80m from the skin track when the fourth skier of our group was heading up. Triggered another small avalanche with a similar size crown on the other side of our skin track. Crown was approx 50cm, 30-40m long and track was around 200m See photos
