Ignore the crusty pun..dits

Although they aren't wrong... It is crusty out there, but there is still good skiing here and there. The best snow we found was in the the tree triangle and the moraines. The crust at treeline is breaking down, faceting and growing some large surface hoar on top. It was quite nice to ski.

We saw the aftermath of a large avalanche on Thorington this morning. I'm not sure when it occurred, but I'm guessing yesterday or last night based on reports and photos from the last few days? Some of those deposits looked pretty thick (easily 2m) and it ran over some ski tracks from yesterday.
