Quick Observation

Evidence of sluffing in steep terrain from yesterday and occasional sluff today. Cornices forming above East facing slopes. Found up to 5 cm of snow blown on top of yesterday's skin track. Storm snow got slightly deeper the higher we climbed. Quick hand pit at 2,250m while we transitioned and waited for the sun to come out. Found 35cm of low density storm snow on Jan 30 crust (4cm thick). (Posted for Tuesday, February 1st. Got stuck in the queue, my apologies.)

Weather

Started from the car at -17.5°C at 10am and hovered around -15 for the rest of the day. Light southerly winds experienced when crossing Sherbrooke Lake in the AM & PM, but calmed climbing towards Ogden Shoulder. Ended the day with blue skies and the clouds clearing off.
