Christmas Gully

Multiple size 1-1.5 storm natural and remotely triggered slab avalanches on N/NW/W aspects scouring the snow all the way down to the crust layer.

Snow relatively stable on S aspects but sliding left and right on N aspects.

Remotely triggered storm slab avalanche initiated in the trees skiers left of Christmas Gully at 1,240m. Crown was only ~30 cm deep but snow accumulated as it slid and partially buried skier ~80cm in the middle of the gully.
