Unfortunately this report only has some parking and access information, and nothing about avalanche conditions.
I was prepared for snowmobiling today and didn't have any ski equipment with me. At Blue Lakes, there was bare ground and an open creek crossing to get around the gate. Beyond the gate was significant dry pavement. So I went to Red Lake instead (AKA Forestdale Rd), which is supposed to open to snowmobile access when Blue Lakes is no longer viable. However, the closure was still in place at Red Lake as of this afternoon.
Hopefully this information is useful to anyone planning to snowmobile in the area. I'm not sure when the access from Red Lake will open, so have a backup plan just in case. Today, Red Lake was my backup plan, and it failed.
