Snowpack is largely scoured to the ground in this zone on NE aspects above tree line except for particularly stubborn cornices and wind slabs. Some wind buffing on NW aspects, but lots of bare dirt and vegetation still visible. Winds ENE 10-20mph gusting to 40mph with little to no snow available for transport. Deepest continuous snow could be found below tree line, 4-14" deep.
