Mores Creek/Sunset Peak

Sunset Peak/Mores Creek-6700ft-NW Aspect-21 degree slope angle Did not observe any recent avalanches or signs of instability We dug a quick observation pit near Sunset Peak (~170 cm deep). We observed ~15 cm of new snow on a rain layer. Beneath the rain crust sat a 4F consolidated layer down to a second 1F crust at 90 cm depth.
