Toured up Schallenberger Ridge. We experienced several whumpfs and cracking throughout our travel, traveling primarily on North and some West aspects below the train tracks. Hand pits at ~7000’ NW aspect showed a shallow snowpack, HS~45cm. Soft slab failing at a density change ~30cm down and ~40cm on facets/MFcr combo near the ground. Surface snow was primarily unconsolidated DF. ~10-15cm ski pen.
