Total snow height at 5528’ elevation on a NE aspect was 150cm. New snow 23cm. Super light and powdery on the N aspects for the new snow. Crust layer at 23cm. Anything that saw sun was crusty on top. Ambient air temp was -1 C at 1215 hours. In the a.m. it was super blue bird and sun was hot. Clouds rolled in around 1145 hours. Ridgeline above Chaincase was calm, no wind and ridgeline above Lake Anne had a slight SE breeze. Not a lot of evidence for wind deposited snow.

A few wet loose slides occurred from sun baked snow on S aspects.
