In some Snoqualmie side country in between Hyak and Summit Central, mostly on north aspects in the 3400 to 3800 elevation range

Very variable snow conditions: loads of stashes of soft fluffy deep powder in quite a few areas, but also a lot of spots of much firmer conditions and a splash of breakable crust. We also encountered a handful of tiny 2cm (ish) reactive slabs on convexities, but not with widespread propagation. We also frequently observed wind transport in action with the stronger winds and the softer lighter snow that’s out.
