Rain came in earlier than forecast with a shower at 4 am. Light showers in the morning then more consistent rainfall began around noon, prompting us to turn around.

8-12 inches of wet sticky snow on top of supportive AR crust.
Avalanche
Large crown beneath Castle Peak, likely from March AR cycle. Glide avalanche spotted in cliffy terrain in the woods beneath Pinnacle Peak.
