ECPT 20 but felt more reactive. Impression of stability was poor. We avoided slopes >30 deg

Avalanche

Natural D2 to D3 avalanches occured between 5/22-5/23. Several more D2s on 5/24. All aspects we could see had activity E through S to W. The most whumping I've ever heard on a trip. Widespread collapses above 6400'. Pencil density 9" slab poorly bonded. The mountain did not welcome us. We stayed <30.
