Quick report
Elevation 5600, E aspect, temp. 25f, durable crust in most places, ski penetration from surface to 7cm. Two pits to the EFC revealed a stout crust 5-7cm then right side up column, with several discontinuities, planer failure on them but low energy, no displacement. EFC contact was not reactive, but still has all the attributes that make it worrying. Jumped on a few well developed wind features that failed but were not very unstable. We were on skies, but not really out skiing, good thing, it was generally pretty unpleasant, downhill travel was demanding.
