Quick report

About 20 CM of fresh wet snow on old ice crust with some facet below the ice crust. Hand shear tests on ascent moderate, but weakening on decent. 1030 at the south side of Sky Lake: Shovel tilt was hard requiring >15 Deg. ECT X. BTB mod. Temps were around 1 deg at that time. Around 11 Lt snow turned to LT rain and there was some roller balling on steeper slopes triggered by my skiing and snow was falling from trees. Overall skiing was better than expected, it was nice to finally have some suspension under my skis. Unfortunately it is still low tide so watch for obscured hazards.
