Quick report
Observed glide cracks that formed below the headwall. Snowpack was observed to be stable (or trending towards stability) and was found to be inline with today's avalanche forecast. Little Headwall is beginning to melt out. A significant amount of water was observed in the Cutler River beginning at Little Headwall down through the first bridge crossing on the Tuckerman Ravine Trail.

Winds from the west were persistent carrying dense fog that turned into light rain. Small pockets of visibility cleared and quickly closed in around 10:30 AM. Clouds rose around noon allowing a greater window of visibility into the ravine.
Snowpack
Various hand shears showed stability in the snowpack as the mushy, wet snow adhered to the previous melt/freeze crust below. Boot penetration ranged from 2 inches to 6 inches, sometimes going through old melt/freeze crust. Noticed a significant amount of snow had melted since yesterday.
