Quick report
Toured up to Lockwood point and over to bowl 1 considering to ski it. Saw evidence of some wind loading in the bowl and cross loading lower down in the bowl on the more E aspect. Dug a pit on on a N aspect near the top, around 6800 ft. Total snow height was ~150cm. We were not sure if it was buried surface hour or just facet/crust layers but they were preserved 60cm down from the snow surface. We performed an ECT. Some mild non-propagating collapses in the new February snow, but got an ECTP24 at the faceted snow layer (see picture). This column slid off planarly with some nudging. We elected not to ski bowl one and stuck to non-avalanche terrain. We spoke with another group who dug a pit at a similar elevation/aspect at bowl one and did not get propagation but did get a collapse at this same layer.
