About what you expect

Only the dedicated few out there today. Not sure where everyone else that likes talking about early season skiing is at. Saw some local SPA members. Worse than expected down low, better than expected up high. Good snow threshold about 2200/2300m but was cool and snowing at the pass at 1:30. Any sort of crust hard but supportive. Skin track is boney but nicer once in the open spots. Some creek crossing are getting strapped. Snow up high was actually pleasant, good turns and supportive. Remember it could be worse, you could be skiing bulletproof crust in Whistler.
