We skied a south facing slope near observation peak and found some great turns with soft snow on top of a supportive base. The recent winds deposited a lot of new snow where we skied, and we didnt notice any slabs except for on some more SE facing slopes we briefly travelled on during the skin up.
A lot of the alpine terrain is pretty thin right now with the recent winds, and there are some sharks lurking.
Temps were pretty consistent around -6 to -10 with light winds from the NW.
