Quick Observation

Great day to snowshoe / tour ski up. Difficult conditions to ski down. Snow pack tested (right at GPS coordinates) showed snow pack deeper than probe (280 cms), We tested a bit past the weak layer which is sitting at 85-95cms down. Observed 20-25 cms of new precipt during the day. Averaging around 65 cms at least based on different areas observed of really heavy snow which is holding well to existing pack. No release observed on tap test but wouldn't give into the sense of safety. Slight drum sounds when stomping. Boot penetration test is definitely infinite. Multiple people went down to waist level on step out.
