Engadine Burn

SSE aspect pit at 2600 m, 38 degree slope, no reaction on CT. 135 cm HS. No crusts evident anywhere in the pack at this elevation, and nothing firmer than 1F. Mostly 4F other than surface. Loose faceted snow at surface, about 60 cm ski penetration setting track. Tough work. -30C at trailhead at 9:00, -16C at 2:30. Wind slab at tree line starting SSW and onto W aspects, but non reactive. Sloughing on any steeper slopes we skied.
