No signs of instability. Dug 3 pits at 2175 NE aspect. Snow depth averaged 2 meters. 3 extended column tests with no results. 2 compression tests with no results. 1 compression test failed sudden planar down 98cms on a thin layer of size 2 facets with a thin zipper crust right below on the 29th tap. We did a propagation saw test on this same layer, we got about 65 % of the way through the column before it failed. Noted a overall consistent, well bonded, rightside up snowpack.
