Between a rock and a windslab

With rocks and hard windslabs in the Alpine, we made the easy decision to stay in the trees. The backside (west side) of Core Lodge had decent riding conditions and fun low-consequence features to sled. We managed to find some soft snow too. We saw a windslab avalanche from a few days ago but didn't see any new avalanches from today.
