Xmas powder

Easy travel on groomed road, broke trail to Mt Henning summit (broke apart from snowmobile route SW of the summit). Pole probed ~30cm new snow presumably by drifting on top of older ~80cm storm snow on up track ~1600m SW aspect in TL. Poked around east of the summit and noticed light northeasternly winds and slight wind affect at the summit. Skied a few laps on the sheltered SW face, slopes no steeper than 30 deg. Deep fun powder, worth a few rips! Blue skies and clouds in the morning, storm rolled in by the afternoon and getting heavier as we skied out. Roughly <1cm/hr snowfall rate. -5C at the car 3pm.
