Noseeum W face

Got an early start and headed up the W face of Noseeum mt this morning. Initially we felt dumb for waking up so early and where doubtful our line would warm up enough for the crusty conditions to improve at all. To our surprise we skinned the first half of the feature and only boot packed the top half which made things easier. At the top when we finally reached the sunshine we found some wet snow on the E aspect at 0930. Our W aspect was starting to get some sun on the bottom half of our line which helped our moral improve. Snow in the line varied from a gross breakable crust to full on powder to some corn near the bottom. Didn’t see any notable avi activity other than previous small loose wet. Avi conditions in the chute where bomber we had a bit of a layer down 5cm in one section of the line but it wasn’t concerning as it had no propagation potential and just made for a bit of a nasty climb.
