Powder turns in Owlhead

We found wintery conditions in Owlhead today. The snow was deep (50 cm) and soft up high and tapered with lower elevations (10 cm around 1700 m). The riding was fun and we played in the meadows. The weather changed from convective flurries to sunshine and back to clouds and flurries during the day. We saw some highlines in steeper slopes that did not trigger any slabs. There was one small (size 1.5) wind slab avalanche which likely released yesterday.
